Frequently asked questions
Quick answers for roasters and importers.
What is the minimum order?
One box of 50 kg for micro-lots, or one pallet (10 bags of 70 kg, 700 kg) for large lots.
How do samples work?
Add lots to your sample box. Each sample is 350 g, and our team sends you a quote for your samples. Samples ship from our lab in Colombia 2 to 5 days after purchase, with a tracking number.
How do I pay?
40% up front once your offer is approved, and 60% when the coffee ships. Payment instructions are sent with your approved offer.
What does FOB Colombia mean?
The price includes the coffee, milling, quality control and export from Colombia. Freight, insurance, import duties and taxes are not included.
Who arranges and pays for shipping?
For micro-lots we collect your delivery address and send you a shipping quote before anything is confirmed. Large lots are sold FOB Colombia, so you use your freight forwarder, and we can introduce you to a shipping agent.
What if the coffee does not match the lab report?
We will replace the lot. The original lot is returned to an address we authorize, and we cover the return cost. Claims are processed 5 days after the coffee arrives. Contact us with photos and the lot code.
Can I see which farm grows the coffee?
Each lot shows its region, altitude, variety and process. The farm stays anonymous until the order is confirmed.
Why do I need to verify my account?
We verify roaster and importer accounts to protect producers and buyers. It usually takes 1 business day. You can browse lots while you wait.
In what currency are prices shown?
US dollars per pound (USD/lb), FOB Colombia.
